De Leica RTC360 3D-laserscanner verzamelt 432 Megapixels (MP) van HDR-afbeeldingen. Deze bronafbeeldingen zijn ontworpen met aanzienlijke overlapping om goede mengprestaties te garanderen. De bronafbeeldingen hebben een native resolutie die ontworpen is om overeen te komen met de hoogste scaninstelling op 3 mm @ 10 meter. Wanneer het als een panorama wordt beschouwd, is dit gelijk aan een panorama van 200 MP, dat wil zeggen 20480 x 10240 pixels, of equivalent aan een 5120 (5k) kubuskaart. Zowel Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360 als Cyclone REGISTER kunnen zodanig geconfigureerd worden dat ze deze resolutie simpelweg leveren.
