Leica Cyclone SERVER er en frittstående serverprogramvare som kan redusere kontorets tidsplaner for høyoppløste landmåleprosjekter betydelig når flere personer skal behandle laserskannedata. Dette er spesielt gunstig på større prosjekter, flerfaglige prosjekter og prosjekter med krevende tidsplaner. Cyclone SERVER fungerer godt for anlegg, infrastruktur, arkitektur og andre prosjekter.
Cyclone SERVER bruker det avanserte objekt-/databaseprinsippet for klient/server og punktskybehandling i Cyclone og CloudWorx, slik at flere kontoransatte kan få samtidig tilgang til punktskydata, innebygde bilder og geometriske overflatemodeller. Dermed unngås tidkrevende datakopiering og tilhørende synkroniseringsproblemer, og det frigjør diskplass og gir mer pålitelig tilgang til prosjektdataene i nettverksmiljøer.
