NOCN Provider Training

NOCN Provider Training

Leica Geosystems have partnered with the NOCN to create a Cable Avoidance course which is designed to instill confidence in the end users and not just knowledge. Unlike an ordinary “Cat&Genny” course the NOCN Cable Avoidance course concentrates on developing the trainee’s skill and ability in using the equipment and understanding its applications and limitations. Resulting in correct operation and increased safety.

Over 25 years’ experience of manufacturing Cable Avoidance equipment has gone into developing a training course that will teach the trainees about the realistic application of the equipment and how to work within and around some of the limitations of Electro Magnetic Location (EML).

The NOCN Provider training will ensure that you have the relevant knowledge to deliver your own Cable Avoidance courses. Centred around Leica Geosystems Avoidance equipment you will learn techniques, hints and tips not taught by any other providers.
It is recommended and preferred that the Provider attending this training has had field experience and has a sound knowledge of EML equipment and theory.

Failure to prove competency in using the equipment will result in the training having to be successfully repeated at a later date.
