This one day course covers the minimum training and assessment required for those working to safely excavate and maintain holes and trenches using both hand tools and hand-held power tools

It is delivered at our Detection Training School in Shropshire. Course delivery carried out by CSTA Global a Leica Detection Authorised Training Provider.
Course elements.
- EUSR Accredited.
- Identify dangers and hazards associated with excavation.
- Covers HSG47, HSG150 and other relevant safety guidance.
- Interpretation of Utility drawings and possible limitations.
- Excavation methods.
- Use relevant documentation to identify utilities.
- Use correct and appropriate excavation tools.
